Right out of the package they had a small hole on the left hand in the crotch between the ring finger and pinky. After two days work two more holes opened up in the thumb crotch and another at the base of the index finger. I deliver doors and trim to jobsites for a living. I thought twice about TPX + palm because I needed good grip for carrying doors. They do have good grips but I just think the synthetic material doesn't stitch well. Anyway I will look to pick up another pair sometime soon but I'll stay away from the 4071's.
Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize the gloves arrived with a hole, this should not have happened. For your specific work, we would suggest you try the Chrome Series 4027 gloves or Rig Lizard 2021X gloves as these both have the high abrasion palm, impact protection, and a thumb crotch patch for improved longevity.
