This is my third pair of HexArmor gloves after someone who worked in a factory gave me a pair back in 2012. I use them for pulling non-native species that grow in invasive thickets and usually have thorns. This pair was excellent on the palms and had no issues, but the back really needs at least one basic level of protection. Worked for 1 hour and already have some threads pulled on the back of the hands and got some painful pokes. I'll keep using them, I just gave to think a little more about what's going where when grabbing some thorns.

As a gardener in Arizona, these sounded good. The palms are fine, but the protection on the back. of the glove is virtually non-existent. As another review stated the fine nettles of cactus come through, and they are still there when you put the gloves on again. I have had two pairs of Steeleather Hexarmor gloves which are far superior, and give much better protection. It is hard to work with just the palm of your hand.
These gloves are my second pair, and they are best I've used so far for moving and cutting back cactus. The only caveat I've discovered are where the protective layers are seamed to the rest of the glove. Some cacti have the large, and the tiny fine spines, and they can easily find their way through the glove's seam to one's fingers. It would be nice if the armored layer would wrap about halfway between the bottom and top of the fingers. Other than that, ThornArmor gloves are the best when working with thorny, or spiny, plants.
Great glove for handling cactus in Arizona. I only hope I can get more of them in my size.
I got these gloves protect my hands while combating the invasive blackberries that bedevil my yard. These plants have extremely gnarly thorns and form impenetrable bramble thickets. The palms do a great job, but I can't reach into a mess of these plants wearing these gloves without getting spiked on the back of my hands, rendering them largely useless. If these gloves were made entirely of the palm material, they would be perfect, but they don't work well for my use case as they are right now.
