I am not in the construction industry, but there are projects in and around the home which require attention to safety. The XA250 is the Rolls Royce of safety helmets. The materials and build quality are excellent. It is very comfortable to wear, and even with the visor and earmuff accessories, it is light enough to be worn without neck fatigue. There is a slight learning curve with the chin strap adjustment and visor/earmuff operation, but the online videos were very helpful. The XA 250 may be overkill for a weekend DIY'er like myself, but I would rather have more protection than I need vs not enough.

I am not in the construction industry, but there are many projects in and around the home that require attention to safety. The XA250 is the Rolls Royce of safety helmets, and I have confidence in the protection that it provides. The build quality and materials are cutting edge. Even with the visor and earmuff accessories installed, it is quite comfortable and head movement is not at all restricted. There is a small learning curve with the chin strap and visor/earmuff operation, but the online videos make it very easy. Is the XA250 overkill for a weekend DIY'er? Maybe. But I would rather have more protection than I need than not enough.
These helmets are comfortable and meet all the safety standards for our current projects. The only issue we have is that one of our employee's head is too big for this helmet and there is no way to adjust it.
