Plus, if you're working with damp or wet materials, the coarse sandy palm coating will give you a solid grip in most situations.
Highest needlestick and cut resistance available is provided by the layering of SuperFabric® brand material on noted enhanced areas

I have some property to clear, semi-arid, so various plants with thorns and needles. I purchased these, as these are supposedly the best out there. I've now used them for a month or two. What I have found is: 1) they are definitely puncture and needle RESISTANT, not PROOF. Handles mesquite, and very thorny brambles, no problem, can just crush them in my hands. Prickly pear needle, went right through it with very little pressure. So far that is the only pointy thing I've found that will go through them, and I am handling masses of thorny brush just like I would non-thorny, just grab and go without a thought about getting stuck. And they have held up well in general, no signs of wear and tear. Yes, they have some stiffness, but not enough to keep them from working just fine. So I am very pleased with them. Now they need to quit kidding around and make some needle proof!

We bought several different sizes and types to try and one glove had a seam inside that blocked the end of the finger. I emailed the company and had a replacement pair within days! We have since bought pairs for our whole HAZMAT team and they really work. The needles we find will bend before they go through the gloves!
