These gloves are my second pair, and they are best I've used so far for moving and cutting back cactus. The only caveat I've discovered are where the protective layers are seamed to the rest of the glove. Some cacti have the large, and the tiny fine spines, and they can easily find their way through the glove's seam to one's fingers. It would be nice if the armored layer would wrap about halfway between the bottom and top of the fingers. Other than that, ThornArmor gloves are the best when working with thorny, or spiny, plants.
