Works great !
I bought the ThornArmor gloves for handling cactus. They are surprisingly tough and protect me even from the dreaded cholla. The palm side is quite stiff, but I expect that this will soften in time.
Great product. I was able to grip thorny brambles and yank them out of the ground without my fingers/palms getting poked. Back of the hand/glove doesn't offer much protection though, so you'll have to watch out for things that might get you there. Overall, I highly recommend. I only used them for 1 week at the time of writing this review, so I can't speak to their long term durability, but I guess I'll find out this year!
They really work, I used them to remove an overgrown cactus plant, trim rose bushes, pomegranate tree and black berry bush. No thorns pierced the gloves. Absolutely amazing. Much better than any other gloves I have tried. Highly recommend them for gardening.
They enabled my wife and me to handle two heavy saguaro cacti as we transplanted them. I got stuck only once, in the wrist above the top of the glove. I wish there was a long sleeve version of the glove.
I am very pleased with the ThornArmor gloves that I purchased. Living in Palm Springs, most of our outdoor landscaping is thorny cactus and agave. In the past, it has been challenging to remove a new cactus from its pot and plant in the ground. With these gloves, I am able to hold the cactus without thorns piercing the gloves and my skin. I use them when pruning and picking up yard debris too. I highly recommend these gloves!
