HeatArmor 5055

At first I didn’t think these gloves would last with the rubber cushioning on it, but so far so good. I do a lot of repair welding of oilfield equipment that’s full of drilling mud, so needless to say I’m pretty ruff on welding gloves.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the HeatArmor 5055 welding gloves! We understand the demands of repair welding in oilfields. It's great to hear that despite the initial doubts about the rubber cushioning, they're holding up well. We designed them for durability, and your feedback is valuable. Keep up the hard work!

Great gloves

These are comfortable and have good dexterity in use. The only real downside is that they seem to run a little small on the sizes.

At first I was very skeptical!

So the first pair I ordered came straight from the factory package, with an incision through the left index finger of the glove. At first I was kinda upset, almost 40$ and kinda thought I bit the bullet, especially since I do structural steel dual shield FCAW process 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I contacted the company about the problem, and they sent me a new pair free of charge due to the defect. Huge kudos for being a company not only with quality PPE, but also looking out for the customer and fixing their error within 3 days. Seriously impressed with the comfortably and heat resistance is pretty hefty for how much dexterity the gloves have to offer. PS Keep that puncture rubber away from heat as much as possible, it will sizzle like bacon 😅
