Our fire company got new gloves for all the guys. Initially I really liked them. Wore them on a rescue training. After working in them for about an hour or so, we took a break. The lining came out when I pulled my hand out. Apparently sweat causes whatever glue they use to fail. I'm a right-handed guy, so the lining of the right glove came totally out. Gloves were useless the rest of the day. Took me an hour to put the fingers back in using a metal rod back at the station. Left one seems OK now (can put on and take off) but the lining of the right-hand glove is still messed up. I have the XL size.
Fit well, but fingers are just a little too long. I got the XL size.
Scott, thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to share your comments regarding the finger length with our product team.
I liked the idea of a glove with a barrier layer, but these gloves missed the mark of being a set of working gloves first. They are quite comfortable and fit well, but I had issues with the lining almost immediately. Any time I removed my hand after sweating, the fingers of the lining would pull out of the glove. eventually the entire lining pulled out of the glove. I would recommend getting the hexarmor extrication gloves as they are great and don't have any issues with the lining.
Hi there! Thank you for your feedback, this information will be passed on to our product development team. When it comes to the issue with the glove, the interior layer of these gloves is sewn in at the wrist with adhesive strips at the fingertips to attach the liner to the inside of the fingertips. We purposely do not sew the glove at the fingertips as it would compromise the integrity of the liner. Because of this, it does require proper donning and offing. If you could reach out to us at: info@safetygloves.com we'd like to help you towards a solution. We look forward to hearing from you! Please let us know if we can help with anything else in the meantime.
My overall experience was really good. Unfortunately the gloves just don't fit right.XL is wide enough but to long in the fingers. The large is the right length in the fingers but to tight overall. I love the concept just wish more sizes were available.
