I love these gloves! They allow me to do gardening tasks without cringing in fear of thorns and briars. I can easily pull dewberry vines and pick up piles of thorny brush!
We appreciate you taking the time to review your purchase!
Not a great fit — long fingers, not super comfortable. They do feel durable though
Scott, thank you for your feedback. We would like to help you find the right glove for the job. Could you let us know what you are using the gloves for and what protection and or features you need so we could give you a better recommendation?
I bought these on a whim as I was scrolling thru the closeout section, so glad I did. These gloves fit amazing and are extremely durable, thus far, not even my dremel with a sanding band does anything but remove dirt. As for grip, I wouldn't use these for heavy lifting of smooth objects but otherwise its great.
These gloves were highly recommended to me by a fellow member of cactus and succulent Facebook page so I immediately went to their website and ordered some. We had had a big freeze in Texas this year and I had a lot of things get killed, including a pyracantha bush, which has a lot of long, sharp thorns. I wanted to feed all the cuttings from it into my chipper shredder, but was dreading it due to all the thorns. Fortunately these gloves arrived literally right before I was going to do it. They were hard to put on at first, and I was afraid maybe I had ordered too small a size. ( I know from previous experience that their sizes run large so I ordered a small.) But once I got them on, they fit like a... glove! :) After breaking them in, they are easier to put on, but still difficult. (I would recommend maybe putting a velcro closure at the wrists.) So I got to work feeding the pyracantha clippings into the shredder, gingerly at first, but when I realized that none of the thorns were getting through the gloves, I could relax and feed the rest of them in without a care! This is the first pair of gloves that I have EVER had that would actually stop thorns! I have tried a lot of different gloves that claimed to be tough, and maybe they were against abrasion, but thorns would go through them like they weren't even there. It only took me 50 years to finally find a pair of gloves that really do stop thorns, but so glad I finally did!
I liked the material knowing it would conform to my hands after a lot of use. But the length of the fingers is too long, so working with the gloves is somewhat cumbersome.
